Get involved. 1 out of 2 adults in the United States will experience a diagnose-able mental disruption during their life time. That is you or the person sitting next to you. We know how to use a band-aid. Do you know how to respond to the scratches of the heart and mind and return to full health? Mental Health First Aid is about being healthy. You deserve to be health and so do your friends, co-workers, and family members.
You can register yourself or contact us for the Mental Health at Work training program described below.
Mental Health First Aid at Work
is available as either a 4-hour course or 8-hour certification program, depending on the needs of your corporation.
The Action Plan
Both the 4-hour and 8-hour options teach ALGEE, the 5-step action plan to provide support to someone experiencing a mental health or substance use problem.

- Listen nonjudgmentally
- Give reassurance and information
- Encourage appropriate professional help
- Encourage self-help and other support strategies
The Mental Health First Aid at Work training also includes a training needs assessment to incorporate your company culture, policies/procedures and employee resources and into the presentation slides and case studies.
